Proposed Bylaw No. 280 will amend Galiano Island Land Use Bylaw No. 127 by rezoning the subject property known as ‘Galiano Green’ to allow for the development of up to 20 residential affordable housing rental units. The property is currently zoned Community Housing 1 (CH1), and rezoning is required to allow for an increase in permitted density from 1 dwelling per lot to 20 dwellings per lot.
