CALL TO ORDER Chair Graham called the meeting to order at 11:15 am. He welcomed the public and introduced himself, Local Trustees and staff members. He acknowledged that the meeting was being held in traditional territory of the Coast Salish First Nations. 2. APPROVAL OF AGENDA The following additions to the agenda were presented for consideration: 7.2 Email from Linda Strong-Watson; 7.3 Email from Robert Exell; By consensus the agenda was approved with amendments 3. TOWN HALL SESSION Two (2) members of the public spoke and the following summary was recorded: Richard Chesam asked why a 1-acre minimum size restriction still appears in Draft Bylaw No. 89; Tom Weinerth noted that the Advisory Planning Commission had frequently looked into the solution that Ken Picard had suggested in his email regarding parking on False Bay Hill and found it to be unworkable. 4. MINUTES 4.1. Local Trust Committee Adopted Meeting Minutes dated July 3, 2014 - for information The minutes of the Lasqueti Local Trust Committee (LTC) of July 3, 2014 were received for information. Parking Lot Home Enterprise – Draft Land Use Bylaw Amendment Staff Report dated August 11, 2014 – attached Planner Eggen presented the Staff Report. The Local Trust Committee recommended that the wording in “Section 3.6(c)(i) be remove d. LA-2014-021 It was MOVED and SECONDED, that Bylaw No. 89, cited as"Lasqueti Land Use Bylaw 78, 2005, Amendment No. 1, 2014" be given first reading as revised.
