The Court of Appeal upholds Galiano's forest zone against MacMillan Bloedel
MacMillan Bloedel owned 55% of Galiano Island. After it announced it would sell its forestry lands, the local trust committee zoned residential use off 63 of the company's properties. The company sued and won at trial. The Court of Appeal reversed that completely.
