The role of the APC is to consider referrals from the Local Trust Committee on various planning matters such as Official Community Plan and Land Use Bylaw amendments, and development applications. Up to nine volunteer members are needed for a period of two years. Gabriola Island residents and landowners are encouraged to apply, including those who have served previously on a general or specialized APC (i.e. Marine, Transportation, or Agriculture). The deadline for expressions of interest is November 10, 2023.
