Salt Spring Island Local Trust Committee Minutes ADOPTED 1 October 5, 2021 Salt Spring Island Local Trust Committee Minutes of Regular Meeting Date: Tuesday, October 5, 2021 Location: Lions Club, Hart Bradley Memorial Hall 103 Bonnet Avenue, Salt Spring Island Members Present: Peter Luckham, Chair Peter Grove, Local Trustee Laura Patrick, Local Trustee Staff Present: Stefan Cermak, Regional Planning Manager Jason Youmans, Island Planner Geordie Gordon, Planner 2 Kristine Mayes, Planner 1 Sarah Shugar, Recorder Media and Others Present: Gulf Islands Driftwood Reporter Approximately 10 members of the public These minutes follow the order of the agenda although the sequence may have varied. 1. CALL TO ORDER Chair Luckham called the meeting to order at 9:36 a.m. Chair Luckham introduced himself, the Trustees and staff and humbly stated gratitude to live and work in Coast Salish First Nations treaty and traditional territory. Chair Luckham reported a recording of the meeting would be posted on the website. 2. APPROVAL OF AGENDA The following additional items were presented for consideration: 13.25 Islands Trust to J. Clark, cc LTC - Dated September 29, 2021 - Concerning response to correspondence dated August 21, 2021 regarding the Rogers Channel Ridge Cell Tower Proposal 13.26 J. Clark to LTC - Dated September 30, 2021 - Concerning Islands Trust response to correspondence regarding the Rogers Channel Ridge Cell Tower Proposal 13.27 E. Booth to LTC - Dated September 30, 2021 - Concerning closure of application SS-RZ- 2013.7 17.2.6 Salish Sea Trail 17.2 7 Housing Actions By general consent, the agenda was adopted as amended.
