ON FRIDAY, JANUARY 2, 2009 AT THE MARCUS ISBISTER OLD SCHOOL 5901 DENMAN ROAD, DENMAN ISLAND, BC PRESENT: David Graham — Local Trustee and Chair Louise Bell — Local Trustee Chris Jackson — Acting Regional Planning Manager and Recorder (via telephone) There were three (3) members of the public in attendance. 1. CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order at 10:00 a.m. The agenda was modified such that item 3. was changed to item 4. and a new item 3. “Town Hall” was added. The agenda was approved, as amended, by consensus. 2. DENMAN ISLAND LAND USE BYLAW, 2008 Discussion occurred regarding proposed Bylaw No. 186, cited as “Denman Island Land Use Bylaw, 2008” and further readings considered. DE-001-2009 It was MOVED and SECONDED that the Denman Island Local Trust Committee amends proposed Bylaw No. 186, cited as “Denman Island Land Use Bylaw, 2008”, by amending Schedule A, Section 2.6 [Sign Regulations], Regulation 1 by adding Co-Housing (R3) in the first column, first row. CARRIED DE-002-2009 It was MOVED and SECONDED that the Denman Island Local Trust Committee gives third reading to proposed Bylaw No. 186, cited as “Denman Island Land Use Bylaw, 2008”, and forwards to the Executive Committee for approval.
