 Warren Dingman, Bylaw Enforcement Manager

Others Present: Approximately 5 members of the public were present. 
 
1. CALL TO ORDER 
Chair Maude called the meeting to order at 10:30 a.m.  He acknowledged that the meeting was 
being held in traditional territory of the Coast Salish First Nations. 
 
2. APPROVAL OF AGENDA 
By general consent, the agenda was adopted as presented. 
 
3. TRUSTEE REPORT 
 
Trustee Campbell advised he has been meeting with people and receiving emails and letters.  
Most of their issues revolve around housing.  He attended the Housing Summit.  
 
Trustee Morrison advised of work on Fire Smart and the Forest Management issues. 
 
 
4. CHAIR'S REPORT 
 
There is agreement on a common sense approach for all and that everyone is working well 
together.  
 
The housing project on Mayne Island is taking giant steps.  The Budget from the last 
Trust Council meeting was a smoother process and sets the foundation for next year.

5. ELECTORAL AREA DIRECTOR'S REPORT - None 
 
6. TOWN HALL AND QUESTIONS 
 
Michael Sketch discussed the proposed Groundwater DPA and how many trees can be removed 
per hectare.  Lots larger than 3 acres can remove 5 trees per hectare.  He questioned if this 
could be increased for firewood use.
