1. CALL TO ORDER 
“Please note, the order of agenda items may be modified during the meeting. Times are provided

Acting Chair Stamford called the meeting to order at 1:30 pm.  She acknowledged that the 
meeting was being held in territory of the Sḵwx

wú7mesh / Squamish and other Coast Salish First 
Nations.  
2. APPROVAL OF AGENDA 
The following additions to the agenda were presented for consideration: 
 11.1  Water Sourcing Policy and Regional Growth Strategy 
 14.3  Membership fees for Stewardship Centre of British Columbia Green Shores Working 
Group 
By general consent the agenda was approved as amended. 
3. TOWN HALL AND QUESTIONS – None  
4. COMMUNITY INFORMATION MEETING – None  
5. PUBLIC HEARING – None  
6. MINUTES 
6.1 Local Trust Committee Meeting dated July 26, 2018 
The following amendments to the minutes were presented for consideration: 
 14.4, page 5, line 3: replace “region” with “Regional District”; 
 13.6, page 4, first line of second paragraph: replace “staff” with “elders”. 
By general consent the minutes of July 26, 2018 were adopted as amended. 
Point of information regarding item 14.3 Passage Island Access: Trustee Rogers noted 
the marina has now been taken over by the West Vancouver Yacht Club.

6.2 Local Trust Committee Special Meeting dated July 26, 2018 
The following amendments to the minutes were presented for consideration: 
 page 3, bullet 5, sub-bullet, second sentence should read: “If a property owner has 
the ability to drive to their property where there is road access, generally there are 
no docks.” 
 page 3, bullet 7: replace “island-wide” with “Islands Trust-wide” 
 page 3, bullet 8, sub-bullet should read: “Rules have changed, but if there is an 
existing dock, you can continue to use it but may not be able to extend or repair it. If 
it were removed completely, you may not be able to replace it. To replace the dock, 
the owner would have to comply with restrictions. If it was legal at the time it was 
put in, it would be legal nonconforming now.” 
 page 4, bullet 3, sub-bullet 1, line 5: replace “Regarding a law on ramps” with 
“Regarding a bylaw on ramps or docks” 
 page 4, bullet 3, sub-bullet 2, line 4 after “15 metre setback”: insert “versus a 7.5 
metre setback for Keats Island” 
 page 5, bullet one, lines 13 to 15: delete sentence “My concern...the belief.”
