[0:03:30] Voice 5: Islands Trust staff, and we're working towards having an Indigenous elder open it.

[0:03:36] Voice 5: And we are, yeah, we're hosting that in collaboration with the Vancouver Island Real

[0:03:41] Voice 5: Estate Board. So that is now planned and I think fairly organized at this point.

[0:03:45] Voice 5: In addition, I can let you know that work continues on some relationship or protocol

[0:03:49] Voice 5: agreements. And we hope to have those done at the very least by September, Trust Council.

[0:03:54] Voice 5: I think I'll leave it there and see if there's any questions.

[0:06:27] Voice 6: So last week on Tuesday, Galeano Local Trust Committee meeting,

[0:06:38] Voice 6: we had a community information meeting and a public hearing on a rezoning bylaw

[0:06:50] Voice 6: and also on the Associated Islands Regulation Review Project,

[0:06:56] Voice 6: which has been a fairly long time coming,

[0:07:00] Voice 6: but really making some headway there, which is great,

[0:07:05] Voice 6: especially for those folks on those little islands.

[0:07:08] Voice 6: Some of them are unserviced by hydro and water access only,

[0:07:16] Voice 6: and really trying to tailor the bylaws for those areas with the realities in mind

[0:07:26] Voice 6: and to do so in a way that's appropriate, that makes their properties usable,

[0:07:35] Voice 6: livable, as it were, but still have some guidelines and some regulations,

[0:07:42] Voice 6: specifically mostly around setbacks from the sea for solar panels.

[0:07:47] Voice 6: and access to the private, the dock access, which most of them rely upon.

[0:07:55] Voice 6: So that went reasonably well.

[0:08:00] Voice 6: Let's see, Salt Spring was Thursday.

[0:08:07] Voice 6: Much of the meeting focused on the work plan items, OCP LUB project,

[0:08:18] Voice 6: project uh and then a pretty deep dive into the water sustainability project and how to sort of

[0:08:26] Voice 6: how to frame that in a way that is useful and helpful for the uh incoming local trust committee

[0:08:33] Voice 6: um also had a a couple of rezonings uh come before us one of them i believe i mentioned

[0:08:43] Voice 6: at a previous meeting, which is a fairly substantial area

[0:08:49] Voice 6: around the old Musgrave Farm.

[0:08:54] Voice 6: Really interesting and somewhat innovative project there.

[0:08:59] Voice 6: Yeah, I think that's what stood out for me.

[0:09:05] Voice 6: Yeah, what else we got?

[0:09:06] Voice 6: Oh, next week is the joint meeting with the Comox Valley,
