Subject: Amendment to Woodfibre LNG's environmental assessment certificate

Dear Trustees,

Woodfibre LNG has applied to the BC Environmental Assessment Office (BC EAO) to
amend its Environmental Assessment Certificate for a second floating workcamp located
at the Woodfibre site. This will double the number of workers being water-taxied through
Átl’ḵa7tsem / Howe Sound to 1,300 workers, along with many other environmental and
social impacts.

The public are invited to review the application and submit comments by August 2, 2025.

We encourage Islands Trust to request an extension from the BC EAO and make a written
submission.

While the public are encouraged to submit comments through the survey tool on the
EPIC.engage website, we recommend that you request to send a written submission via
email to EAO.operations@gov.bc.ca.

We also recommend that you include any references that you may refer to in your
submission as attachments to ensure these documents become part of the official record.
For example, if you refer to a scientific journal article, include the complete scientific
journal article as an attachment.

BC EAO requests that all attachments be combined into a single PDF file with your written
submission.

Thank you for continuing to hold Woodfibre LNG accountable for its impacts on the
precious ecosystems of Átl’ḵa7tsem / Howe Sound and our communities.

Best Regards,
Tracey
