Public Present There was one member of the public attending the Zoom meeting 
 
1. CALL TO ORDER 
Chair Patrick called the meeting to order at 11:40 am.  She acknowledged that the meeting was 
being held in traditional territory of the Coast Salish First Nations. 
2. APPROVAL OF AGENDA 
By general consent the agenda was approved as presented. 
3. TRUSTEE REPORT 
Trustee Brent reported that: 
 he attended a recent Trust Programs Committee meeting where discussion occurred 
regarding the upcoming consultations to be held on the islands for the Trust Policy 
Statement rewrite; and   
 
 he attended a recent Financial Planning Committee meeting where discussion occurred 
regarding the budget which will be presented at the March Trust Council meeting; and he 
also provided a statistical summary from the review of the survey responses and an 
overview of the budget expenditures.    
Trustee Middleton reported that the Governance and Management Review document was 
released in confidence to all island trustees and it is anticipated to be made public soon.

4. CHAIR'S REPORT 
Chair Patrick reported that: 
 the Trust Council meeting will be held in person and streamed live from Nanaimo on 
March 8
th
 to 10
th
 and a public input session is scheduled on March 8
th
 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm; 
and, 
 
 that public engagement will soon occur for the Trust Policy Statement.

There were no questions raised.

The minutes of October 21, 2021, having already been adopted, were recorded here for 
information purposes only.
