Trustee Dan Rogers from Keats Island has been in touch with Acting Area Superintendent, David Whiteside and has been advised the two vessels were removed on March 2, 2018. As a Local Trust Committee we are dedicated to the preservation of the ecosystem throughout Howe Sound and it is gratifying that your Ministry moved so quickly following your letter to remove and dispose of the boats. They were certainly a blight upon what is a wonderfully pristine Provincial Marine Park.
