1. CALL TO ORDER 
 
Chair Busheikin called the meeting to order at 12:26pm. She acknowledged the Coast 
Salish First Nations upon whose territory we were meeting.  
 
2. APPROVAL OF AGENDA 
 
 The following amendments to the agenda were presented for consideration: 
- The Public Hearing, Item 5, would become Item No. 3 
- Item No. 10.2 GL-DVP-2016.2 (Coburn) would become Item No. 4 and the agenda 
renumbered accordingly. 
 
 By general consent the agenda was approved as amended.  
 
3. PUBLIC HEARING 
 
 3.1 Recess for Public Hearing

3.2 Recall to Order 
  
Chair Busheikin recalled the meeting to order at 4:46pm. There was a short 
break. The regular LTC meeting reconvened at 4:55pm.

4.1 GL-RZ-2011.1 (GLCHT) – Staff Report 
 
By general consent the Local Trust Committee agreed to defer this item 
(previously agenda item 10.1) Galiano Land Trust to the November 7
th
 meeting.  
 
4.2 GL-DVP-2016.2 (Coburn) – Staff Report 
 
The staff report was reviewed. As a result of a neighbour’s feedback, the 
applicant agreed to add one additional parking stall, bringing the total parking 
spaces to four.  This change was deemed acceptable as no further response was 
received from the neighbour.

It was MOVED and SECONDED, 
that the Galiano Island Local Trust Committee approve issuance of Development 
Variance Permit GL-DVP-2016.2 (Coburn) as revised.

6. MINUTES 
 
6.1 Local Trust Committee Minutes Dated August 29, 2016 (for Adoption) 
 
The following amendments to the minutes were presented for consideration: 
 
- p. 14 a “definition” of a hut instead of “distinction” 
- p. 15 of package in Item No. 16.3 Rise and Report, “The resolution was read” 
should be changed to: “The resolution to reconvene was read.”   
 
By general consent the minutes were adopted as amended.
