The role of the APC is to consider referrals from the Local Trust Committee on various land use planning matters such as Official Community Plan, Land Use Bylaw amendments and development applications. Up to nine volunteer members are needed for a period of two years, and approximately two to three meetings per year. Denman Island residents and landowners are encouraged to apply, including those who have served previously on a general or specialized APC (i.e. Marine, Transportation, or Agriculture). The deadline for expressions of interest is Tuesday, November 26, 2024.
