Others Present: There were six (6) members of the public present. 
 
1. CALL TO ORDER 
Chair Elliott called the meeting to order at 1:40 pm. She acknowledged that the meeting was 
held on the territory of the Coast Salish First Nations. 
 
2.  RISE AND REPORT – none 
 
3. APPROVAL OF AGENDA 
The following additions to the agenda were presented for consideration: 
New Business 14.1 Wood Dale Drive Issues 
 
By general consent, the agenda was adopted as amended.  
 
4. TOWN HALL AND QUESTIONS 
 Rick, resident on Horton Bay, questioned status of buoys, sunken boats, swim floats. Finding 
lines of communication confusing. 
 Queries can be directed to staff, if broader information can email LTC 
 Number of agencies involved:  Dead Boats Society, Department of Fisheries and Oceans 
(DFO), Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure (MoTI) 
 Issue on Land Use Bylaws (LUB) Review 
 Bylaw on hold while determining jurisdictions

7.1 Local Trust Committee Special Meeting Minutes Dated April 19, 2023  
The following amendments to the minutes were presented for consideration: 
 Members Present – Chair Elliott, add second “t” to last name 
 Call to Order: Chair Maude – change to Chair Elliott and first sentence ... at 3:00 pm. 
change he to “she” 
 
By general consent, the minutes of April 19, 2023 were adopted as amended. 
 
7.2 Local Trust Committee Special Meeting Minutes Dated May 29, 2023  
  The following amendments to the minutes were presented for consideration: 
 Page 3:  comments by Deborah Goldman – to read:  Rural Islands Economic 
Partnership Forum 
 Page 3:  bottom of page – to read David Burrows 
By general consent, the minutes of Special Meeting May 29, 2023 were adopted as 
amended.
