There was one (1) member of public present. 
1. CALL TO ORDER 
"Please note, the order of agenda items may be modified during the meeting. Times are provided 
for convenience only and are subject to change." 
Chair Morrison called the meeting to order at 9:45 am. She acknowledged that the meeting was 
being held in territory of the Coast Salish First Nations. She noted that the one member of the 
public present has been attending meetings regularly and thanked him for being in attendance. 
2. APPROVAL OF AGENDA 
By general consent the agenda was approved as presented.

6. MINUTES 
6.1 Local Trust Committee Minutes dated April 17, 2018 for Adoption 
The following amendments to the April 17, 2018 minutes were presented for 
consideration: 
 Add to Staff Present: Fiona  XETXÁTTEN MacRaild, Senior Intergovernmental Policy 
Advisor Marine and First Nations Issues (via telephone) 
 Item 11.2 Building Relationships with Local First Nations, add an introductory 
sentence noting that Fiona MacRaild joined the meeting via speaker phone. 
 Item 11.2 Building Relationships with Local First Nations, add a closing sentence 
noting that Fiona MacRaild left the meeting. 
 In Resolution TH-2018-013, second to last line, remove the word “holding” and add 
brackets to the central portion to read as follows:

It was MOVED and SECONDED 
that the Bylaw Enforcement Officer provide a standing resolution to support the long-
standing, short-term use of three rental units located at 49 Harbour Road (Strata Lot B, 
District Lot 1, Thetis Island, Cowichan District, Strata Plan EPS644; together with an 
interest in the Common Property shown in proportion to the unit entitlement to the 
Strata Lot show on Form V. PID 028-987-691), in a way that shows certainty until such 
time as a Temporary Use Permit is available. 
CARRIED 
By general consent the Local Trust Committee (LTC) meeting minutes of April 17, 2018 
were adopted as amended.
