PUBLIC HEARING 5.1. Recess for Public Hearing At 1:26 pm. Chair Grams opened the Public Hearing and read a statement detailing the process and procedures of the Public Hearing as per Section 892 of the Local Government Act. 5.1.1. Bylaw No. 170 Planner Richardson summarized proposed Bylaw No. 170. The proposed Bylaw would allow for expansion of retail space and would permit rental of some units as staff housing and/or residential housing. The hearing notice was sent to applicable agencies. Island Health is to be contacted regarding approval of food facilities and all other agencies felt interests were not affected by proposed changes. There were no questions or comments from those present. See separate business meeting minutes item 10.1 dated November 7, 2016 Chair Grams called three times for further comments. 6.2.
