MINUTES OF THE LASQUETI ISLAND LOCAL TRUST COMMITTEE MEETING 
THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 28 AT 11:00 AM 
AT THE LASQUETI INTERNET CENTRE, 
MAIN ROAD, LASQUETI ISLAND, BC 
 
PRESENT:      David Graham   Chair

There was (1) one member of the public in attendance. 
 
 
1. CALL TO ORDER 
 
Chair Graham called the meeting to order at 11:06 am. 
 
 
2. APPROVAL OF AGENDA 
 
The agenda was amended by consensus as follows: 
 
• Add Section 11.4 – New Business – Electronic Meetings 
• Add Section 11.5 – New Business – Public Consultation with Trust Business 
 
Planner Prowse noted that she had received e-mail correspondence relating to the False 
Bay parking issue, but that she had not provided the Local Trust Committee with this 
correspondence as it was received too late for the agenda package.  It was noted that the 
correspondence would be mentioned when the False Bay parking issue was being 
discussed, and that the correspondence would be placed on the May 2, 2013 agenda.  It 
was also noted that the local trustees would forward any correspondence regarding the 
False Bay Parking matter to Planner Prowse so that it too could go onto the May 2, 2013 
agenda. 
 
 
3. TOWNHALL SESSION 
 
There were no speakers for the Town Hall Session. 
 
 
4. MINUTES 
 
4.1 Local Trust Committee Adopted Meeting Minutes of October 18, 2012 – attached 
for information

It was noted that the minutes of October 18, 2012 were previously adopted; 
however it was felt that further changes were required. 
 
LA-002-2013 It was MOVED and SECONDED that the October 18, 2012 Local Trust Committee 
adopted minutes be amended as follows: 
 
• Section 9.2.2 on page 5 – change reference from “four known watersheds” 
to “three known watersheds” 
• Section 17 on page 9 – change reference from the next meeting date being 
held “March 28, 2013” to “February 28, 2013”.

minutes be adopted as amended.

4.2 Section 26 Resolutions Without Meeting Log dated October 10, 2012 – attached 
for information 
 
Received. It was noted that Resolutions Without Meeting take place between 
scheduled Local Trust Committee meetings to ensure that Local Trust Committee 
business is carried out in a timely manner and that Resolutions Without Meeting 
are reported on at Local Trust Committee business meetings. 
 
4.3 Lasqueti Island Advisory Planning Commission Meeting Minutes dated October 16, 
2012 – attached for information 
 
The Advisory Planning Commission minutes of October 16, 2012 were received.
