CALL TO ORDER Chair Burton called the meeting to order at 1:05 pm. She gratefully acknowledged that the meeting was being held on the traditional territory of the Kòmoks First Nation and Pentlatch People. She introduced herself and the recorder and allowed other Advisory Planning Commission (APC) members to introduce themselves. Chair Burton noted that members Kim Fagerlund and Christine Amabilino Hunt would continue to be actively working on the APC referral from a distance. 2. APPROVAL OF AGENDA The following amendment to the agenda was presented for consideration: Change item 4 to the heading ‘Hornby Island Housing Network’ and renumber all following agenda items. By general consent, the agenda was approved as amended. 3. MINUTES 3.1 Hornby Island Advisory Planning Commission Draft Minutes dated September 24, 2021. The following amendment to the minutes was presented for consideration: On page 2, third paragraph, line 1, change ‘Deputy Chair Bale’ to ‘Chair Burton.’ DRAFT Hornby Island DRAFT 2 Advisory Planning Commission Minutes October 29, 2021 By general consent, the minutes were adopted as amended. 4. Hornby Island Housing Network Chair Burton explained that the Hornby Island Housing Network, previously called the Hornby Island Housing Coalition, a recently formed group, had invited APC members to attend a recent meeting and that two members had attended; but that APC members
