Hornby Island Local Trust Committee PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE Proposed Bylaw No. 166 Minimum Average Lot Area Amendments Project (MALA) ___________________________________________________________________________________ The Hornby Island Local Trust Committee invites the public to attend the following Public Hearing and Community Information Meeting on Friday, October 8, 2021, at Room to Grow, 2100 Sollans Road, Hornby Island, BC, regarding Proposed Bylaw No. 166: 12:25 pm -Community Information meeting to learn more and ask questions. 12:35 pm -Public Hearing, to hear your views regarding the bylaw. What is Proposed Bylaw No. 166 about? The purpose of Proposed Bylaw No. 166, if adopted, is to amend the current Hornby Island Official Community Plan (OCP) Bylaw No. 149 by proposing multiple changes to the Hornby Island OCP to ensure consistency between the OCP Policies and the Hornby Island Land Use Bylaw (LUB) regulations with regard to minimum lot size and minimum average lot area (MALA) in the various Land use designations in the OCP.
