That the Gabriola Island Local Trust Committee has reviewed the Directives Only Checklist and confirmed by resolution that Bylaw No. 296, cited as "Gabriola Island Local Trust Committee Advisory Planning Commission Bylaw, 2017", is not contrary to or at variance with the Islands Trust Policy Statement. 2. That Gabriola Island Local Trust Committee Bylaw No. 296, cited as "Gabriola Island Local Trust Committee Advisory Planning Commission Bylaw, 2017", be read a first time. 3. That Gabriola Island Local Trust Committee Bylaw No. 296, cited as "Gabriola Island Local Trust Committee Advisory Planning Commission Bylaw, 2017", be read a second time. 4. That Gabriola Island Local Trust Committee Bylaw No. 296, cited as "Gabriola Island Local Trust Committee Advisory Planning Commission Bylaw, 2017", be read a third time. 5. REPORT SUMMARY The Gabriola Island Local Trust Committee (LTC) is asked to consider giving readings to Bylaw No. 296, cited as "Gabriola Island Local Trust Committee Advisory Planning Commission Bylaw, 2017", and subsequently to forward the bylaw to the Executive Committee for approval, prior to consideration of adoption. Bylaw No. 296 provides updated bylaw language, with references to the new Local Government Act [RSBC 2015], consolidates the Advisory Planning Commission (APC) bylaws for Gabriola (Bylaw 209), DeCourcy (Bylaw 162) and Mudge (Bylaw 163), and clarifies roles and responsibilities of APC members.
