There were 11 members of the public present and no media. 
 
1. CALL TO ORDER 
 
Chair Grams called the meeting to order at 11:00 a.m.  He acknowledged that the 
meeting was being held in traditional territory of the Coast Salish First Nations. 
 
2. APPROVAL OF AGENDA 
  
The following addition to the agenda was presented for consideration:  
 
  Add item 9.1 - Late Correspondence: Update on Proposed Laundry /Shower 
Facility and Tenting Site. 
 
By general consent the agenda, as amended, was Adopted. 
 
3. TOWN HALL AND QUESTIONS 
 
Pat Carney asked what the process will be for the above mentioned letter added to item 
9.1.   
 
Trustee Brent responded that the proponent will need to submit a Temporary Use Permit 
(TUP) after which there will be an open meeting for community input. 
 
Pat Carney then asked for the history of the zoning for the original pub, in particular 
requesting specifics related to provision of parking for the pub.   
 
Planner Richardson offered to follow up on this. 
 
Al Sewell recalled that the property in question was originally zoned as commercial. He 
suggested that consideration be given to amending the original zoning to add this as 
"permitted usage" rather than have the applicant go through the full TUP process.

Pat Carney requested an update on the status of the Peretz application. 
 
Planner Richardson responded that it is on hold until the applicants decide how they 
wish to proceed.
