 ʷəŋən, METULIYE/Victoria, B.C. – Islands Trust Council invites the public to participate in its next business meeting 
being held in Victoria at the Coast Victoria Hotel, 146 Kingston Street, December 3–5, 2024. There will be multiple options 
for participating in, or viewing the meeting. The public is able to attend in-person and is welcome to listen and participate 
by telephone, join the meeting by computer or smartphone, or simply watch the meeting on a computer or smartphone. 
 
Trust Council meets quarterly to make decisions about matters that apply to the Islands Trust Area and Islands Trust 
operations. Trust Council receives, discusses, and makes decisions about policies, finances, and proposed work for the 
coming quarter.

Introduction to Islands Trust’s New Chief Administrative Officer – Rueben Bronee will address Trust Council as the new 
Islands Trust Chief Administrative Officer.  
 
Islands Trust Council/San Juan County Council Joint Session – Island Trust Council will meet with San Juan County Council 
Member Jane Fuller to discuss issues of mutual interest, share information, and provide an opportunity for trustees and 
councillors to learn from each other’s experiences in island governance. 
 
Islands Trust Draft 2025/26 Budget – Islands Trust Council will review its initial draft 2025/26 budget. 
 
2025/26 Islands Trust Council Meeting Schedule – Islands Trust Council will determine its 2025/26 meeting schedule 
including the dates and locations of Trust Council meetings from January 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026. 
 
Delegations and Public Comment Period – Members of the public are invited to present as a delegate to Trust Council or 
speak at the Public Comments portion of the meeting on matters affecting the Trust Area. Anyone wishing to present as a 
delegate is required to submit this form along with a complete presentation by November 12, 2024. Visit

The final meeting schedule and agenda package will be posted to the meeting page on the Islands Trust website by

Trust Council works to preserve and protect over 450 islands and their surrounding waters in the Salish Sea and welcomes 
input, comments, ideas, and feedback on topics related to the jurisdiction of the Islands Trust Council.
