Islands Trust Freshwater Sustainability Strategy: “great cry and little wool.”

If strategy is defined as a detailed plan for achieving success, the Freshwater 
Sustainability Strategy December 2021 report remains at the ruminating stage. 
Page 35 of the report outlines the decade-long planning program, timeline and 
budget. A decade to spend taxpayer money while watersheds and wetlands are 
destroyed, wells go dry, and aquifer salinization increases.

The report reflects the July 2020 Project Charter wherein aquifer protection 
plans are “out of scope.” There is no sign of a
