Presenters Tine Rossing of Ecolibrio Consulting and Ruth Waldick of the Ecological Research Network will profile the impacts of climate change on the Islands Trust Area, 13 major islands and more than 450 smaller islands covering 5200 square kilometres. Webinar attendees will learn how nature can help people adapt to climate change by working with, rather than against, the local ecosystem. Participants will gain an understanding of why a healthy ecosystem is necessary for human well-being. Since 2008, Tine has played a pivotal role globally in helping to define and promote ecosystem-based adaptation planning and implementation with a variety of audiences.
