1. CALL TO ORDER 
Acting Chair Trustee Brent called the meeting to order at 1:28 p.m.  He acknowledged that the 
meeting was being held in traditional territory of the Coast Salish First Nations. 
2. APPROVAL OF AGENDA 
By general consent the agenda was approved as presented. 
3. BUSINESS ITEMS 
Trustee Brent discussed the need for new meeting processes to address concerns of COVID-19, 
including the future use of electronic meetings. 
3.1 Bylaw No. 131 – Saturna Island Local Trust Committee Meeting Procedure Bylaw No. 
83, 2004, Amendment No. 1, 2020 
SA-2020-010 
   It was Moved and Seconded,  
that Saturna Island Local Trust Committee Bylaw No. 131, cited as “Saturna 
Island Local Trust Committee Meeting Procedure Bylaw No. 83, 2004, 
Amendment No. 1, 2020”, be read a first time.

   It was Moved and Seconded,  
that Saturna Island Local Trust Committee Bylaw No. 131, cited as “Saturna 
Island Local Trust Committee Meeting Procedure Bylaw No. 83, 2004, 
Amendment No. 1, 2020”, be read a second time.

SA-2020-012 
   It was Moved and Seconded,  
that Saturna Island Local Trust Committee Bylaw No. 131, cited as “Saturna 
Island Local Trust Committee Meeting Procedure Bylaw No. 83, 2004, 
Amendment No. 1, 2020”, be read a third time.

SA-2020-013 
   It was Moved and Seconded,  
that Saturna Island Local Trust Committee Bylaw No. 131, cited as “Saturna 
Island Local Trust Committee Meeting Procedure Bylaw No. 83, 2004, 
Amendment No. 1, 2020”, be forwarded to the Secretary of the Islands Trust for 
approval by the Executive Committee.
