CALL TO ORDER Chair Luckham called the meeting to order at 8:30 AM stating gratitude for meeting on Coast Salish territory. 2. APPROVAL OF AGENDA 2.1 Introduction of New Items None 2.2 Approval of Agenda By General Consent, the agenda was adopted as presented. 3. FOLLOW UP ACTION LIST AND UPDATES 3.1 Follow Up Action List Staff reviewed the status of items since the last regular meeting of December 20 th . 4. BYLAWS FOR APPROVAL CONSIDERATION 4.1 Mayne Island LTC Bylaw No. 176 (Fees Amendment) Vice Chair Rogers spoke to the amendment. EC-2019-001 It was Moved and Seconded, THAT the Islands Trust Executive Committee approve Mayne Island Local Trust Committee Bylaw No 176, cited as Mayne Island Local Trust Committee Fees Bylaw No. 145, 2007, Amendment No. 1, 2018 in accordance with Section 27 of the Islands Trust Act. EC-2019-002 It was Moved and Seconded, THAT the Islands Trust Executive Committee approve Thetis Island Local Trust Committee Bylaw No. 106, cited as "Thetis Island Local Trust Committee Fees Bylaw, 2007, Amendment No. 1, 2018", in accordance with Section 27 of the Islands Trust Act. CARRIED 4.3 Ballenas-Winchelsea BEN Bylaw No. 34 (Bylaw Enforcement Notification) Director Marlor reviewed the ticketing system know as the BEN bylaw. EC-2019-003 It was Moved and Seconded, THAT the Islands Trust Executive Committee approve Bylaw No. 34, cited as "Islands Trust Executive Committee Acting as a Local Trust Committee Bylaw Enforcement Notification Bylaw No. 34, 2018”, in accordance with Section 27 of the Islands Trust Act. CARRIED 4.4 Lasqueti Island LTC Bylaw No. 95 (LUB amendment) Chair Luckham spoke to the bylaw; an amendment addressing subdivisions. EC-2019-004 It was Moved and Seconded, THAT the Islands Trust Executive Committee approve Lasqueti Island Local Trust Committee Bylaw No. 95, cited as “Lasqueti Island Land Use Bylaw No. 78, 2005, Amendment No. 1, 2017”, in accordance with Section 27 of the Islands Trust Act.
