Thank you for providing further details on matters of importance to the Islands Trust, including a prioritized list of legislative amendments to the Act. | understand that Tara Faganello, Assistant Deputy Minister, Local Government, has been in contact with Russ Hotsenpiller, Chief Administrative Officer, Islands Trust, to discuss further steps with respect to this request. Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing staff will follow up with Islands Trust staff in the coming weeks to get a better understanding of the overall context, and to seek more background information for the items in the request. Once that has occurred, Ministry staff will be in a better position to conduct a preliminary assessment of policy impacts and resource requirements, and may be in further touch with your staff to seek clarification if needed.
