THAT the Islands Trust Council include a special property tax
requisition for the Salt Spring Island Local Trust Area in the amount of
$98,500 in its 2017/18 annual budget, to fund additional operations of
the Salt Spring Island Local Trust Committee in preserving and
protecting the quality and quantity of water resources within the Salt
Spring Island Local Trust Area.

That Trust Council adopt the recommendations of the Select
Committee "That the Management Team, and their Administrative
Support staff and the Trust Fund Board staff remain within the
Greather Victoria area (32km or less from the current location) for the
foreseeable future and that staff examine the possibility of a satellite
office for the Southern Planning Team members and/or other staff 'as
presented' and give direction to conclude the work of the Committee".
