There were approximately (3) members of the public. 
 
1. CALL TO ORDER 
Chair Patrick called the meeting to order at 10:32 a.m.  She acknowledged that the meeting was 
being held in traditional territory of the Coast Salish First Nations. Chair Patrick introduced the 
Local Trust Committee (LTC) and staff.  
2. APPROVAL OF AGENDA 
By general consent the agenda was approved as presented.

Elizabeth Montague and Audrey Green each thanked the Trustees for taking the position of 
trustee

Regional Planning Manager (RPM) Kojima provided an overview of the document.  
Trustee Thorn requested and received an update on the letter to the Anglican Diocese 
regarding the Church of the Good Shepherd and the Heritage Registry.

9.1 Pender Islands Trust Protection Society Letter Dated November 5, 2018 re Request for 
Assistance & Event Poster  
RPM Kojima provided an overview of the letter and the associated event.  
Trustee Thorn mentions it’s valuable if the event could be video-taped and made 
available online.

10.1 North Pender Island Local Trust Committee Bylaw No. 220 Referral  
By general consent the South Pender Island Local Trust Committee agreed to 
respond to the North Pender Island Local Trust Committee Bylaw No. 220 
referral with “interests are unaffected”.  
10.2 Mayne Island Local Trust Committee Bylaw No. 174 & 175 Referral  
By general consent the South Pender Island Local Trust Committee agreed to 
respond to the Mayne Island Local Trust Committee Bylaw No. 174 & 175 
referral with “interests unaffected”.
